DEG CSP-Biomass, India

Solar thermal power plant that produces electricity and process heat in India.

Project description

In this project, the combination of concentrated solar thermal energy with parabolic troughs and biomass power plants is being developed in India. The Solarlite parabolic trough is intended to supply steam, which can be used both for electricity generation and for process heat. The solar field provides a defined steam quality that is used selectively and seasonally for various purposes. The project is exemplary for a wide range of different applications.
